Will I be able to run Crysis on the highest quality with my hardware?

I have an Intel core 2 quad q9300,

a G31t-M motherboard,

an 8800GT alpha dog extreme,

4GB of RAM,

500GB hard drive

and a DVD-ROM drive.
Will I be able to run Crysis on the highest quality with my hardware?
No. NOTHING can run Crysis at highest settings at an acceptable framerate :P.

(You'll be able to run it but it may be a bit slow at some sequences).
Will I be able to run Crysis on the highest quality with my hardware?
Yes u can run it in highest setting with no problem.
Reply:As far as I know there is no PC currently available that will run Crysis on max settings smoothly. You could probably run it on high, but not max.
Reply:This should be the answer to your question

Reply:No, you will get about 20fps.

That is almost the same exact card you have, except yours is clocked alittle bit faster. This one got 19fps, yours should get the same, or a tiny bit better. 20, 21 at best.

Under 30fps is considered poor for gaming.

30-60fps is considered average.

60+ is good.

That should give you an idea of where to adjust your game settings for best balance of performance and detail.

If you listen to that video, even the best nvidia and ati cards are only getting 24 fps..

crysis is a very demanding game. You will need a couple 9 series in sli, or ati crossfire to get high detail levels.
Reply:No. The only card that comes CLOSE right now is the 9800GX2. Both the GTX 260 and GTX 280 should be able to do it when they come out in a couple weeks however.
Reply:not on MAX. no way jose.

crysis is old now anyway. im playing mass effect.
Reply:It all depends on the resolution, 1280x1024 you will be able to, but at 1920x1200 you can't. Also 20 fps seems like 40 in crysis because of the motion blur.
