well...HP and compaq are now the same and they both provide drivers. All you need to do is get the s/n and the model number of your laptop or PC (mentioned in a black text over a white sticker on your hardware device) and copy the product name or serial number on this link http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/supp... this will take you to the page where you have your drivers listed. Hope this helps.
