Just get a laptop with 2gb ram and if possible get a dual-core processor. These two are easily available under 40-50k and it would be sufficient. Vista works great if you have both of these so it wont be any problem. Otherwise Xp is great anyways.
Reply:lenovo Y series laptop is gud option
Reply:Go with HP / Dell costs around 45k--48k and go with 2Gb Ram 160+ HDD and duel core processor.
Now a days its coming preloaded with VISTA, but It is not that user friendlyand takes moreeeeeee soace as compared with XP.
If you wish to load XP, 1st you have to take a recovery of your present vista preloaded copy and then you have to format it for loading XP.
without taking backup plz dont format again you dont get VISTA (else you have to pay Rs. 7000/- for vista).
so make shure you dont format until you take recovery disks (2 DVDS) are required for vista backup.
any assitance needed reply me
