Mouse for pc not working?

hi there my mouse for my pc wont work all of a sudden even tryed another mouse in my pc but still wont work can you guys help thanks

If its a PS2 mouse (the green adapter at the end) you have to plug it in then restart your computer as its not plug and play, but if its a USB then it should work straight away as that is plug and play.

is it plugged into the mouse port or usb port if mouse port uve blown it or the software is not compatible for the mouse

Reply:get a rat insted, much better and apparently more intelligernt than a mouse.
Reply:Try putting in the new mouse and rebooting sometimes it wont pick up a newone when you just plug it in while the pc is running.
Reply:feed the mouse some cheese.
Reply:if you told us your operating system, the kind of mouse and how it connects to the computer as well as the last thing you were doing with your computer before the mouse stopped working, that would help a lot, otherwise, see first answer
Reply:its more than likely that your mouse is broken. plug a new one in and make sure its the correct port on the back of your pc and re-boot the pc it should then work.


ps just thought, make sure you have the plug lined up correctly when you plug the mouse in as you can easily damage the pins.
Reply:I had a mouse that wouldn%26#039;t work so I stopped paying it and kicked it out. Now I have a Chinchilla, they are much better and their fur makes better gloves.
