a lenova is a good type


they are fast and easy to carry around





a bad kind is a toshiba


they are terribly slow


and have so many issues





i used to have a toshiba and it has crashed on me about 3 times so i gave up and now i use a lenova and it works perfectly.

I%26#039;d get a g4powerbook used or a new MacBook Pro.. I have both and sometimes I use the G4 before the macbook, it%26#039;s got os9 which i still use for certain software and it has faster DVD drive and represents that very last generation of true macs..





with Bootcamp eithor computer will run windows and all windows software, so getting a mac gives you the best of both computer worlds.





AND Macs don%26#039;t get virus.. ever!
Reply:if you want multimedia or gaming get a laptop which have a gpu (graphic processing unit )


if you want other uses i would recommend dell inspiron


i have one and it is almost perfect and goes with whatever i need


( i am enthusiastic i try alot of stuff and systems and disto%26#039;s by the way )


and it is on all the time when i am home and not sleeping ( and sometimes otherwise )


just get a cooler pad to it ( if you want so )


dell is so good so common and it%26#039;s prices are good





and to those who say mac


i wouldn%26#039;t pay twice the price for the same specifications and the same intel processor


if it is about security and stability get linux


because mac is a unix- based linux disrto%26#039;s are unix-like


by the way bsd and solaries are also unix and they are all free


more then free most of the afformentioned are open source





you will regret getting mac


not much software no games ..... and it is not the super pc anymore (since 5 years it uses intel processors )
