My COMPUTER IS SLOW ! HELP !?

um my computer has been so slow this past two days!


one night i was just looking at pictures online (not porn ok)


and then it just started to get slow so i turned it off





then the next day i turned it on, my computer loads like 5 minutes until it gets to the log on account part.





SO WAT DOES THIS MEANS ?


does my computer has virus ?


HOW CAN I MAKE MY COMPUTER WORK NORMAL and FAST AGAIN ?

Reply:inexpensive way is to scan for viruses, if found delete them, try to have as less app as possible, format the os, expensive way new chip.
Reply:You have a trojan or virus. Just because it is not porn does not mean you can%26#039;t pick one up. Go to the link below and download Spyware Doctor and Norton security scan. Install,update, and run full system scans. After running the Norton security scan, get a good anti-virus program such as Norton (if willing to pay) or AVG or avast ( if want free).


Next go to download.com and get Ccleaner and ZoneAlarm firewall.


After installing Ccleaner, run it using the registry cleaner first and then the regular cleaner last.


Install ZoneAlarm firewall.


This should help your problem. Also make sure that you update Spyware Doctor daily and schedule it to do quick scan daily and full scan weekly.

Reply:It sounds like your computer has a traker virus, don%26#039;t do any banking or anything that people could track before you sort it. Try downloading a spybot from the net this should identify the problem and try and fix it. If you havn%26#039;t got any viruses it may be you have too many files on your comad its making it run slow, you can defragment it or buy an external hard drive to store your files on.

Reply:Perform the following steps. I confidently say it will make a difference (you can also right-click My Computer and go to Properties to see how much space you have left. In Vista, you can see it is Computer directly):





Delete programs and files and organize - Use Add or Remove Programs to delete unwanted programs from the computer. Then browse to My Documents or just Documents and delete unecesarry files and organize the computer up. Make categories and sort your files. Do this for other folders too.





Clean up - Use Disk Cleanup in Accesorries or download the good CCleaner and clean your computer up.





Delete registry - Use CCleaner to delete the registry and speed up.





Faster searching - Allow Vista to index your files to enable faster searching. Well, you cannot stop it also. But don%26#039;t tamper around with it in the Control Panel or anywhere.





Update - Update your drivers and update to the latest Service Pack to make it faster as ever. Vista has SP1 as the highest one available and XP has SP2. Windows Classics have got to update upto SP4 or SP5.





***After all this, it is recommended to clean up the computer and delete registry again.***





Now check the hard drive space again. It has increased, isn%26#039;t it? I wrote it myself, honest!

Also, I want to add that this MAY not work if you have a virus in your computer. For that, run scans with Windows Defender or another paid product.
Reply:if its not a virus or some other problem maybe this is:


if you have some new (doesn%26#039;t need to be new) hardware then (this happen to me) computer gets really slow because its waiting for that hardware (like a printer maybe) to respond now either you can make it respond faster (I don%26#039;t know how to do that some of my friends know) or disconnect that hardware so that computer won%26#039;t be troubled with it and connect it only whaen you need it..
