Just bought a Dell XPS M1530, will it play these games ? ..........?

Well I just bought a dell and chose the 拢609 option to customize and these are its final specs.

Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 2.4 GHZ 3MB L2. ( upgraded myself )

320GB (5.400rpm) SATA Hard Drive

NVIDIA庐 GeForce鈩?Go 8600M GT med 256 MB

6-cells battery

Both the %26#039;2.4ghz 3MB L2%26#039; and the %26#039;4096MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x2048]%26#039; was added at an extra cost by me.

Will this system run games like Crysis and Unreal tournament 3 ?

Thanks for reading, kind regards, Jack

I%26#039;m positive you%26#039;ll get it to run. Although it%26#039;ll be almost-smooth gameplay, a few more hundred mhz on your processor would create the perfect gaming PC.

Card might be a little lame for Crysis, at anything but the lowest settings. Not a bad machine mind you, just a little light on the graphics end.
Reply:sorry man.......i dont think crysis will run on ur pc.......crysis requires 512 mb of graphic card..........i dont know about UT3........and one more thing laptops are not made for gaming.....they are made for official work.......
Reply:From these specs you should not have a problem playing these games, your system exceeds the minimum recommended statistics for each game, the only problem I forsee is if you try playing them on battery power only, the 6cell battery only has about 60-90minutes of usage per charge when running vista and graphics intensive programs like games. You might want to make sure you carry around your AC charger, or leave it plugged in when you are playing games on it. Unfortunately the largest battery Dell sells for their machines is a 9 cell and even it doesn%26#039;t last as long as the durational rating Dell says. Vista and other graphic intensive programs chew up battery power quickly, generally the battery will last less than half of its listed rating.

Reply:crysis is way too demanding and far ahead of it%26#039;s time

%26gt; leave alone your 8600m gt

now if you have the laptop in hand, checkout all of these games for self,
