Laptop probelem need help Vital!!!!!?

My Laptop is a mess with adware and funny probems constanty happening i have rebooted my whole laptop and installed Norton 2008 and did a full scan and found 11 problems and as it seems it is blocking some things but some times my start screen doesnt even load my desktop items dont show up the my whole laptop crashes i am also getting adware and loads of pop ups i dont want to download any thing that is not going to work i need something that will get rid of these problems faster than ever i sometimes cant even load up my internet which is a massive pain in the *** Please help. Back-up your important files and try to re-format your hard disk using a bootable windows operating system installer. If you cannot do it on your own. Look for someone who is knowledgeable in computer formatting because you will be needed to reinstall the drives and programs.

nod32 is an antivirus program from a company called eset, download a trial from them and use that, also try to get a hold of %26quot;spybot search and destroy%26quot; and ad-aware, that should help a lot.
Reply:download spybot search %26amp; destroy %26amp; ad-aware 2008 these programs are some of the best at fighting spware, do a full system scan with them then do another full system scan with Norton
