It doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes the mouse and keyboard will just stop working, the computer still works because I see the clock on the gadget bar moving. Is there a way to fix it? I have Vista Home Premium.

well the leading cause(s) for this are 1. Device Driver Failure or 2.Port(hardware) Error. In the former you need to reinstall ur drivers using the Add New Hardware icon in the control panel and select the relevant option. Make sure you have a fresh disk of the OS and not the same one you installed from earlier as on the same the drivers would have been corrupted. For the latter, you ll need to get your board's PS2/USB/Serial ports check in order to get a proper diagnostic. This can only be done by a professional hardware person. My advice is call an service engineer to have a look into the same.
