Firstly, you need a high speed processor. Anything from Core2duo 2.6ghz onwards i guess. At least 2 GB ram and a powerful vga card maybe say 8800GTX

Reply:you'll need a good CPU. more the likely a dual core if you want to play the most recent games. might want at least 3 gb of RAM if your motherboard can handle it and then a good video card is the main thing you really need, like the other answer stated, maybe a Nvidia 8800 will do you just fine, for games now and in the future.
