The processor will not have any problems with the RAM.

The maximum a computer can take is 4GB (you can put more, but you need a different kind of Windows).

It will take it fine no problems but you can not exceed 3GB because you will have to have a different operating system such as Professional 64 bit or Vista.
Reply:Your processor has nothing to do with it since it has no memory controller. Check your motherboard's documentation. I'm betting 2GB is the limit.
Reply:As you Discribe its Took only 1 GB if Its P4. but also depands on motherboard, How much Ram capacity in your Motherboard?

Shoud be upgrade up to 512 MB or Max 1GB.

Try to checked it with Your seller or Provider.
Reply:This depends on the motherboard and OS.

The motherboard might support 4GB+, but if the OS is only 32-bit, only 3.6GB can be allocated.
