What's the difference between refurbished apple products and new ones?

I'm planning to buy the macbook pro. Actually, I wanted the new macbook pro but it's very expensive. So I somehow considered the refurbished one. In the internet, refurbished product owners often say how good their refurb macs are, but since they are as good as new, why is there a big difference in price?

refurbished products are just products that were used before that might've had something wrong with it. Thus, having it repaired and now selling it again. It makes it seem brand new because the items they replaced it with are new.

i guess its like a car, as soon as its driven off the lot the value depreciates.
Reply:WARNING: Never buy refurbished products

the difference between them is that new ones contain genuine software %26amp; hardware.

there may be a difference in price but never opt for refurbished ones as they are similar to ones lying in a trash bin.

Refurbished products are usually defected and/or used ones

which are fixed partially so as to appeal the customer to buy them...These type of products usually boot into the OS %26amp; when u try to install any app. the system reboots or get any other error....

So I highly recommend that u buy original ones...
Reply:new is new from the factory. refurbed is one that some one owned. and the factory cleaned them installed new os and programs. like going to buy a new car or a used one from a good car company. so they about 92% as good as a new one. just cheaper cuz it aint new. hope i helped
