while inserting pendrive in the usb port, it gives error showing malfunctioned . how can i solve.

try formatting the drive? would erase all the data but everytime i get an error with drive i just formet and its gone =]

Just restart the PC and try again. If Windows still says it malfunctioned, contact the manufacturer of the pen drive. This may be a mechanical problem. Also you can try formatting the pen drive. Format it as FAT 32. This can also fix it.
